Arthritis

Arthritis is an inflammatory disease of two joints in the human body. Arthritis usually refers to inflammation of the joints, which is also known as arthritis. The leading reason for joint pain is inflammation. The number of people who have arthritis worldwide is very high. According to the Arthritis Foundation, Atlanta, one of the leading causes of inactivity, is arthritis. One of the symptoms of arthritis is the loss of cartilage and severe pain. The disease can affect any bone joint in the body, but it is more likely to affect the heavier joint. This disease’s main symptoms are unbearable pain in the neck, shoulders, back, waist, or scalp.
There are also mild fever, loss of appetite, and weight loss. Arthritis causes 19 percent of people to fail to function normally. This information was found in a 2010 study. In this case, they have to be absent from work for more than 16 days on average. In such a situation, like other countries of the world, ‘World Arthritis Day’ is being celebrated today. Every year this day is celebrated for raising awareness about arthritis pain or arthritis. This time the theme of the day is ‘Now is the time to control arthritis pain’.

Arthritis is one of the leading causes of health problems in the world. People with this disease cannot work for physical disabilities. Deprived of income, people gradually became poorer. They said that only the Department of Rheumatology of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University in Bangladesh conducts medical, educational, and research activities in this regard. The department conducted two studies in 2001 and 2010 to diagnose the prevalence of arthritis in Bangladesh. A 2001 study found that 26.3 percent of people in the country have arthritis at some point in their lives. In 2005, this number stood at 26.5 percent. Women suffer more from this disease than men. In this case, the males’ rate is 21.1 percent, and the percentage of females is 31.3 percent. In 10 years, the percentage of women has increased by about 3 percent to 34.5 percent, and men’s rate has risen to 18.6 percent. Two studies conducted in the same area have found that the most prevalent of arthritis symptoms is back pain. 21.2% as of 2010; Knee pain 14.6 percent. Shoulder joint pain is 7.4 percent, groin or hip arthritis is 6.1 percent, ankle arthritis is 6 percent. According to experts, people with arthritis have joint pain, and this pain gradually spreads. Smaller pairs of limbs are more affected.
Often there is pain evenly in the joints on both sides, i.e., right and left. Many times neck pain can also occur. The problem of this disease decreases when you work; it increases when you rest. The pain increases when you wake up in the morning. The pain gradually subsides as the day progresses.
